The story of Green Frog Brewery begins over a decade ago in Lars&Julia' very own home. For 12 years, Lars honed his craft as a homebrewer, experimenting with various recipes and techniques. It was a journey filled with challenges and learning experiences. "There were times," Lars recalls with a chuckle, "when a number of beers were so bad that not even the snails would touch them." Which is kind of a low mark since snails normaly love beer. But each misstep was a stepping stone, and every failure a lesson learned.
Inspiration from Nature
The name "Green Frog Brewery" was inspired by the vibrant ecosystem in Lars&Julia' garden. A pond teeming with frogs became a symbol of the brewery's commitment to nature and sustainability. These small, green amphibians not only lent their name to the brewery but also embodied its core values: creating beer that is good for both the environment and the health of its consumers.
